
This safety advertising campaign was aimed at reminding FortisBC natural gas customers to take care of their meter, especially when planning renovations. The meter safety webpage already existed on fortisbc.com, but needed updating in consultation with subject matter experts and refreshing with new creative. I wrote copy for digital ads, a 30-second radio ad and tweets for the FortisBC Twitter feed, which are typical pieces in this kind of advertising campaign.
Site analytics indicated that the Meter at Work campaign resulted in about 45 times more traffic to the meter safety webpage, compared to statistics for the same period in the previous year.
