Copywriting and Business Writing

Jack’s New and Used Building Materials. Rewrote site’s home, salvage, rentals and delivery pages, and re-designed the information on the Contact Us pages, to help make site more user-friendly and targeted to customers.
Barbara-Jo’s Books to Cooks. Wrote several reviews of books for the store’s website to promote upcoming or little-known titles, such as At the Japanese Table.
Publishing/Document Design
AntiSocialite (opens PDF) Magazine created as a project for the Document Design class in Print Futures using PhotoShop and InDesign.
JETAABC Newsletter (opens PDF) Coordinated the planning, writing, design and publication of this newsletter, which was distributed quarterly to the membership of JETAABC. Created using PageMaker.
Hook, Line & Dinner (opens PDF) A flyer created for Whitecap Books in order to promote seafood cookbooks to seafood retailers, who could potentially sell the books in their shops. I wrote the copy and designed the two-page flyer in Quark XPress.
