1 reason to replace paper books with an e-reader

E-books are perfect for bibliophile germophobes. You may miss the old-book smell, random marginalia, and chance of finding somebody’s old photos and grocery list embedded in the pages of a library or used book, but you’ll never have to wonder where your e-book has been.

  1. Now there’s logic that cannot be argued with. :)

Thank you – for leaving a real-life human comment! You’re not a spam bot! Yay! You made my day.

  3. I love my e-book reader but I never would have thought of that as a reason to buy one. Very interesting.

I’m not totally paranoid or anything about used or library books, but earlier this year bedbugs were discovered at my local library so it did give me pause (and I am borrowing mostly electronically nowadays, because it’s just so darned convenient too). I just love my e-reader a little too much, I think.

I’m also interested in hearing about any other good ebook apps or reading programs, so please let me know why you love yours.
